Elise is slowly recovering from her cold. Work was very intense again today. Since I haven't even had a chance to take a lunch all week, I've not moved forward with anything for Elise yet. Tomorrow I will definitely be taking a lunch, no matter what the demands. That place is crazy!
This evening, Elise did three things that were great. First, she found a page in A's book where all the animals are having a birthday party and are around a cake. I sang Happy Birthday while she looked at it. Then, she repeated Birthday - a brand new word for her. Second, she was lying in the water in her bath. B came in to see her. He reached in and tickled her tummy. She laughed and made direct eye contact with him for at least 30 seconds or more. Inadvertently, her brothers are going to become her best therapists. Third, she invited me into the dark walk-in closet to play with her and her flashlight. It wasn't to get me to help her or anything, it was because she wanted to be with me. Sharing an interest with us is a really positive sign.
