So, I e-mailed the service coordinator again yesterday and still got not response. They'll be 2 calls a day for the next week until I hear some her and every call will also go hand in hand with an e-mail. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
Elise is not feeling well today. She did go to OT (occupational therapy) and had a good session. Hubby took her, but I guess that she sat for 12 minutes and played with paints. Previously, she'd only sat like that for 5-6 minutes at a time. One of our goals for her has been to up her tolerance for sitting and playing. This will be really important for school and for her learning in general.
Last night we had pizza and I think that she displayed some odd behavior afterwards. Hubby is not as convinced, but I really think there is something to the gluten / cassein thing for her. My new book about starting the diet should arrive Mon or Tues. I am excited to see if it helps her at all.
My dentist visit this morning resulted in scheduling another appointment to receive a crown. The fillings I had in my early twenties are all now coming back to haunt me. I have to say that I was pessimistic going into the appointment just because of the way things have been going in general lately. My expectations were fulfilled! At least it'll mean one more almalgam gone - less metal in my body.
